Geneva, September 8, 2026 – Marquise Technologies today announces the launch of ICE Live, a new real-time monitoring and quality control platform designed for the increasingly complex signal environments of modern broadcast and live production.
From signal validation to experience validation
Modern broadcast signals are no longer simply video accompanied by audio. HDR and wide-color-gamut video, immersive and personalized audio, language and accessibility options, and the metadata controlling these experiences are increasingly interconnected.
ICE Live is designed around this reality, bringing video, audio and metadata together in a single synchronized environment. Its transport-agnostic architecture enables operators to monitor, analyze and validate the complete live signal—from HDR video and Next Generation Audio to metadata and the resulting viewer experience.
The platform combines HDR video monitoring and professional scopes, audio and Next Generation Audio analysis, real-time rendering of the resulting audio experience, and deep metadata inspection and validation, giving operators a comprehensive view of what is being transmitted and how it will ultimately be experienced.
Signal intelligence for next-generation live production
ICE Live provides comprehensive monitoring and validation of Next Generation Audio (NGA), supporting both MPEG-H and ITU BS-2125 S-ADM workflows with the same powerful capabilities. At the baseband stage, operators can select programs, presets and languages, test interactivity parameters such as object gain and position, and simulate the resulting user controls and settings as they would appear on the end-user display. ICE Live also provides deep inspection and validation of the associated metadata to verify that the intended listener experience is correctly defined.
ICE Live can also render the selected NGA configuration, allowing operators to visually inspect the authoring scene and listen to the resulting experience before encoding and delivery.
Traditional audio workflows are not forgotten: the platform provides comprehensive audio monitoring, including loudness measurement, adaptive audio layout meters and support for audio group management, ensuring that both conventional and next-generation audio can be validated within the same environment.
For video, the platform provides monitoring and measurement for SDR, HLG and HDR10, including professional video scopes, HDR metadata visualization and real-time conversion between the different color spaces. Operators can also apply LUTs and adjust parameters such as gain, gamma and saturation when validating HDR workflows.
ICE Live also brings standards-based validation to the live workflow, enabling operators to verify signal integrity, transport and synchronization against the relevant broadcast specifications. These capabilities provide a common environment for monitoring, analyzing and validating the different technical layers of a live signal, helping ensure that it is compliant and ready for transmission.
ICE Live supports the professional interfaces used across modern broadcast infrastructures, including SDI, NDI and SMPTE ST-2110.
Designed for master control rooms, live productions and labs
Designed for control rooms, live production and broadcast technology laboratories, ICE Live supports the full range of live signal validation workflows. It can be used for on-air monitoring in a master control room, during events and live sport productions, or in laboratory environments to evaluate new formats, workflows, interfaces and signal configurations before deploying new broadcast infrastructure.
