Marquise Technologies will have an enhanced presence at the upcoming EBU Production Technology Seminar, where we will participate in two advanced demonstrations focused on quality control and next-generation audio workflows:
- Serial ADM (S-ADM) rendering and playback across multiple platforms
- EBU QC integration and interoperability
S-ADM Workflows: Immersive & Personalised Audio from Production Masters to Emission
The objective of this demonstration is to showcase the creation of a single production master leveraging the advanced capabilities of ADM for immersive and personalised audio. This master can be played out directly or delivered to next-generation audio encoders such as Dolby AC-4 and MPEG-H, supporting both linear broadcast and streaming service workflows.
This demonstration brings together several industry partners around the BBC, to illustrate mastering, encoding, and playout using EBU Production Profile ADM and AdvSS Emission Profile S-ADM.
Marquise Technologies will showcase the creation and the QC of a single MXF repository file, providing:
- XAVC or JPEG-XS for the video essences
- MGA S-ADM audio, featuring a 5.1 bed with dialogue as an interactive object

EBU-QC Integration & Interoperability
Our QC Player ICE can import third-party EBU-QC reports such as those generated by Venera Technologies, then review, verify, and qualify detected issues using our live analysis tools. This workflow allows operators to add human QC checks and consolidate all automated and manual QC results into a single, unified report.
We will also showcase the support of new content analysis and tests newly developed for the QC of ADM and S—ADM files, as well as tests for Subtitles & Captions, like the automatic detection of empty lines.
EBU-QC is a standardized and open-source way of exchanging QC information between content owner and content manufacturer, independently of any proprietary QC tool.
